The following guide is for all preassembled computers that are not getting display out of the box.
*Make sure to read all instructions thoroughly before attempting inspection.
Please Note: the AH380 is being used in this example, but the installation and inspection should be like or the same as what’s being shown.
Step 1: Make sure your monitor is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard. The ports you are looking for look like the image shown below, no matter which system is purchased.
Step 2: If it is possible, change the cable from HDMI to Display Port or vis versa.
Step 3: Check to make sure that the GPU has its power cables full seated. They are located usually on the back end of the GPU and usually has 2 or 3 connections.
Make sure that the locking clip on the cable head is fully clicked into place.
Step 4: Check to make sure that the GPU is fully mounted to the motherboard. It should not be popped up. If you see the GPU unlevel reach under the GPU and push down on the locking clip circled in yellow. When you push down on that clip it will pop the GPU out. Pull it completely out, and then push down evenly with moderate strength. The locking clip will pop up and lock the card into place.
Some cases may have the GPU installed vertically much like the figure shown below. In which case check the bottom of the mounting bracket and make sure it's evenly installed.
