If your ARGB fan is not turning, the fan may not be plugged in correctly or configured correctly. The image below an example of the issue.
*If you are having trouble specifically with Case fans preinstalled but not turning, please see below step 4.
Before moving forward, use your thumbs to press up on the center of the fan light. You may feel it click into place. If you do not, proceed below.
Step 1: Trace the cable that goes from the fan to the 2 or 3 way splitter, similar to the one shown below. The splitter should be fully connected both on the 2 or 3 way top, and the single 3 pin plug in on the bottom.
Step 2: If the splitter is fully mounted on the head chosen, you may need to increase the power output to the head. You can do this by going to the BIOS and going to the settings for the header chosen. The BIOS may look similar to the images shown below.
Step 3: Reboot the computer. When the computer powers completely down and begins to turn back on, press the F12 key on the keyboard and continue to press the button until you reach the main BIOS menu.
Step 4: Once in the menu settings, you may need to go to advanced settings, find the head power settings, and change the Auto to 100%. Go to the exit, save the changes, and reboot. The fan should start turning.
If your ARGB case fans were preinstalled when you purchased a chassis, proceed to the next set of instructions as the process varies slightly.
Remove the right-hand side panel where the cables are routed, and you should see a controller that looks like the image shown below. Take note of the head circled in pink, that is the cable that goes to your power supply.
That cable should go down to a 4 pin MOLEX connection as shown in figure 2. Check to make sure that this connection is fully seated. If it is, and the fan is still not turning, please check the connections circled in RED. If those connections are fully seated, you may have a bad fan or controller.
